This story takes place in Brutewood Prison. Brutewood Prison is a fictional prison created by author Curtis Kingsmith and it is an open-source that can be used by other writers. This open franchise is intended for gay erotica with prison themes, so other authors and storytellers can contribute and build their own stories around it. Hawk is a young gay Native American man who will spend the next two to five years in this prison. Raggy is a middle-aged black thug who falls in love with Hawk the moment he sees him. He proposes to him so that Hawk will become his prison wife!

The story has an instant love theme between the main characters. Some might argue that this kind of love might not be believable but I still think it was cute to happen. Raggy the black thug despite being tough with others he was very gentle and patient at the same time with Hawk. When he said he wanted him as his wife he really meant that. Hawk, on the other hand, was a fragile frightened boy but gradually he has fallen in love with Raggy due to his kind kindness and well behavior with him. The author captured the relationship between the two characters very well. The prison atmosphere is well presented so the slurs in the story are all relevant to the situations. If the way Raggy’s love for Hawk was not convincing enough to you, I think you will be convinced with that love by the end of the book. This is a HEA story that you might enjoy if you would like to read one set in a prison. The sex scenes were excellent and hot enough. The book is the first in the series but I think each book in the series is a standalone story. I am not sure why the author chooses such long titles for his books. I mean a shorter one would’ve been better. Maybe he wants the books to stand out? possible. But the problem for someone like me who reads a lot is that a title that long will be out of my memory even if I liked the story.
